Arsenal whizzkid Jack Wilshere is set to spend the second half of the season on loan at West Bromwich Albion, according to The Daily Mail.

Wilshere, likened to Dennis Bergkamp by manager Arsène Wenger, is considered to be one of the club's greatest talents.

The boy is not 17 until the turn of the year but has been outstanding this season in the Carling Cup for the Gunners.

While his chances of playing in the Premier League with Arsenal are limited, he could show his skills elsewhere.

Despite his youth, it is felt that he can still do a job in the top division with a side like West Brom, who have been battling against relegation. The Baggies currently find themselves at the bottom in the Premier League. Therefore, some extra help up front would definitely be welcome.

Wilshere made his Premier League debut against Blackburn Rovers on September 13th. A week later, he scored his first competitive goal in a 6-0 Carling Cup win over Sheffield United.

He also became the youngest player to have represented the club in the Champions League.
