Totti out of Juve clash

AS Roma captain Francesco Totti has been ruled out of the Serie A match against Juventus on Saturday, Goal.com reports.

The Giallorossi have left their skipper at Trigoria so he can undergo further examinations after he complained of severe pain to his knee during training session on Friday morning.

Totti did take part in only a minor session of training but he was forced to leave the pitch with an inflammation to his knee, which early reports suggest relates to the injury he suffered in April against Livorno.

Totti will have further tests this afternoon to analyse the extent of his injury.

Er Pupone was supposed to make his 400th Serie A appearance against the Bianconeri but he will have to postpone the celebrations following this latest set back.
