Pirlo out two months

AC Milan have a highly disappointing start to their Serie A season, having lost their two opening matches, and it went from bad to worse as Andrea Pirlo could be out of action for up to two months with a right thigh injury.
The 29-year-old suffered the injury during Tuesday's training session and missed Milan's UEFA Cup victory over FC Zürich on Thursday.
But it wasn't believed that the injury was that serious, with Pirlo only expected to be out for a few weeks.
However, a scan on Friday revealed the problem is much more serious than first feared.
The Italy international is now expected to be out of action for 45 to 60 days and is likely to return at the beginning of December.
It is a big blow for manager Carlo Ancelotti, who is under fire following Milan's disastrous start, as he will miss the playmaker on a number of big games including the Milan derby at the end of this month.
