The saga over Cristiano Ronaldo's future still continue as the Portuguese winger triggered a wave of disgust throughout football by shamefully claiming: 'I AM a slave!'
According to The Sun, Ronaldo currently earns £120,000 a week at Old Trafford, lives in a £4 million mansion, has ordered an £835,000 Bugatti Veyron and is close to agreeing a new £23 million Nike sponsorship deal!
The Manchester United ace, who is desperate to join Real Madrid, was responding on comments made by FIFA president’s Sepp Blatter.
The head of world football claimed that Ronaldo should be allowed to leave United, and that making him stay was like slavery.
But while the rest of the football world was furious to Blatter’s comments, Ronaldo decided to back him.
He believes Blatter was right to describe him as being treated like a "modern-day slave" by his current club United.
The Spanish giants are believed to be prepared to offer around €85 million for Ronaldo and pay him €9 million on a five-year deal.
The 23-year-old, a boyhood Real fan, has consistently been linked with a move to the Spanish capital since the end of last season after scoring 42 goals for United and led them won both the Premier League and Champions League.

I saw that interview Cristiano Ronaldo gave exclusively to RTP a few days ago during his rehab in Lisbon, Portugal. He said he "completely agreed" with Blatter. He didn't say more about his move about Real Madrid - even though the reporter asked him 5 times about it. Cristiano Ronaldo said emphatically in Portuguese "I won't talk any more about that, is that clear?"
