There will be another big event after Euro 2008 in Switzerland and Austria.

Yup it's 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Who will win this year gold medal for men's football?

Last tournament in Athens was won by Argentina, coached by Marcelo Bielsa, which held an outstanding record of having won all their matches without conceding single goal in the tournament! The Golden Boot was also won by their striker Carlos Tévez.

Argentina arrived in Greece touted as hot favourites in the tournament. This time the Argentine team determined to win their first ever Olympic football gold medal, after their fallen in 1928 and 1996 finals.

The competition was a confirmation of South America domination after the success at U-17 and U-20 levels by making All South American Final.

While all African and European teams collapsed in the preliminary round and failed to provide more than one representative in the quarter-finals.

Iraq made a massive surprise for put themself in the fourth place despite their terrible preparation conditions.

Now, the mission has accomplished, and with some style too! The team swept all matches and scoring 17 times in 6 matches without conceding a single goal, making them the first team to win the Olympic gold medal without have any goal conceded.

While Tévez become top scorer in the competition with eight goals. They also win the Fair Play trophy alongside with Iraq. Such a perfect tournament for Marcelo Bielsa's team.
